COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
El Rey Inn’s spirit of responsibility has evolved through three generations in the hospitality industry, and active involvement in the Southwest. El Rey shares in the care of both the Santa Fe community and the environment. The inn’s outreach is exemplified by its commitment to its employees’ well-being, charitable involvement throughout northern New Mexico, environmental stewardship, and the health and safety of both guests and staff.
The inn promotes health and safety, diversity and high ethics in the workplace. Some staff members have been with the inn for over 30 years.

El Rey Inn makes generous community donations to Boys and Girls Club Del Norte, Buckaroo Ball, NMLA, SFLA, American Cancer Society, New Mexico Symphony Guild, Popejoy Hall, PBS, Adaptive Ski Program, Santa Fe Opera, Red River Valley Charter Schools, Make a Wish Foundation, Center for New Mexico Nursing Excellence, National Wildlife Federation, Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, and The Museums of New Mexico, and more. 2009 sponsorships include: The Nature Conservancy, Audubon New Mexico, National Audubon Society, Ski New Mexico, Amigos Bravos – Friends of the Wild Rivers, Villa Therese Clinic – Basic Health & Social Service Needs, Museum of New Mexico Foundation, New Mexico Wilderness Alliance and The Wilderness Society.
